My wife and I are in our 50s and want to travel. What do we need to know now?

Having travelled a bit in the past I never worried about health issues but now that we are in our 50s we do plan to be more on the move. Can you prepare me for what is ahead?

It really depends where you want to travel to. First decide where you want to go. Then look up the country online, or contact their embassy - they should be able to tell you whether you need vacinations/innoculations before you go. Your own doctor might also have a list of places which require vacinations before you go. Also, make sure you have travel insurance that covers medical emergencies before you travel. I hope it works out for you and you have a good time!

Thanks for the helpful info. Oh yeah we are aware of medical insurance. I'm not in the best of health so that was the first issue.
