My St. Patrick's Day rose has it's first bud of the year. When the new owners re-landscaped I was afraid they'd damage it or try to transplant it and kill it in the process. Luckily, they left it alone and planted camillias around it. I'm glad to see it's recovered enough to make a bud. Why did they name it St. Patrick's Day if it's yellow? Because sometimes the buds are green and in some areas the flowers are green.
