that we are living in the past... Take what we call stars for example. The light we see coming from the stars is actually light a year before that moment.

No, absolutely not, because lights coming from stars may takes year to come, but i think after one year if a ray comes from star, then next rays will be come to us with in the flash of a second. I mean to say, if we were live in past, then when i saw a star, then after another one year we should see the same start at the very next moment.

yes it will be possible soon.when we will able to read that lights of centuries old,we can see the scene of past.
