waiting on the phone

That has to be my pet hate. Almost all large instuitions now have robots answering their telephones. My worse is my telephone service provider. I have to key in my telephone number, then another button for the service I require, then answer some 'yes' or 'no' questions and then I am told to hold the line. I am kept holding for so long, that I get another phone and start the same procedure all over again. I have done this using four phones, and I was still left holding, and I had to keep checking all phones to see if I had got a rep on any of them. I can't understand why they do not use queue buster. That way, your call will be returned by a human.

never experienced this with airtel but i have a tata indicom phone and when i called the customer care, they put me on hold for 20 minutes!

Oh yea I hate that with the passion. To make a Dr appointment for myself or my kid I have to go through all that... then they tell me that they do not have any appointments and to try back later. It is nuts!

When this happens to me I usually will be found talking to the automated voice saying I want to talk to a person you can not help me!(possibly a bad word or two just for good measure). If your lucky you'll only have to press 10 buttons to get to speak to someone you can't hear or understand. Yeah that's a pet peeve of mine. Thanks for asking so I could vent :)

Well, sometimes it piss me off especially during those times i badly need an answer to my inquiry. Usually it happens to me whenever i need assistance from my mobile network, i seldom got a quick answer from them, it seems that their phone line were always busy and hard to connect. I often can connect after 20 times dialing in it. It really makes me feel me mad and angry due to those were usually in emergency cases and my mobile network failed to connect to the person i need to talk to.

i don't like waiting on the phone, but most of the time we have no methord.

Yes, i get very much frustrated with waiting over the phone when connected to a custmer care center. Sometimes I had to wait fro around 10 minutes to reach a person to explain my situation and this is the situation everywhere you go, banks, credit cards, etc.

Yeah, it is really annoying waiting for a call especially when it is important. What I usually do is watching TV just to divert my attention away from it.

Yeh i hate that also. But i usualy stick in there until someone answers the call. I'll try again later on.

Yes it do when i had a prepaid mobile connection i have to wait 15 to 20 min before i got to talk to some representer of the company but after that i am on post paid plan and it hardly took 1 min to get connected so i think now i dont wait :)

this happens to me everytime we have internet connection problems and i have to call customer support. they made me wait for more than 30 minutes!! then when you tell them the problem, they would just like forward it to tech support then make you wait again for a return call. they can't even tell whether they're just having maintenance or something. they really suck!!
