I love faces, that is, faces from plants, flowers, animals, insects, rocks, and human beings. There are life stories to be found on every single human face. I see love, joy, sadness, happiness, hope, despair, friendship, pain, aspiration and endless descriptions of our human characters, all being revealed in that simple but complex face. I see beauty beyond words carved and written on those faces. My sample of faces would be limited and biased. So, if you have other lovely close-up faces to share in my post, please feel free to do so. I hope my “face” post will bring magic, beauty, understand, peace and goodwill to all viewers. We are all common people living on this planet called earth. We all have family and friends. We all love our country. We shall overcome. PS I also hope that by showing all these close-up faces, some Chinese people’s curiosity would be satisfied. I remember my own Canadian experience that was fairly similar to the “white” people in China. I was constantly stared at by younger kids (some adults too) wherever I went. It was so uncommon to see a Chinese face in my city at that time!
