I'm really IN LOVE with all the contemporary asian literature, in the late times with the Japanese one. But, as I study Chinese, I would like to know some GOOD contemporary Chinese writers. I've read books of Ha Jin, Sang Ye (nice one), and Ma Jian, but I would like to know more underground and "experimental" writers. Can you give me some hints?

I read "War Trash" by Ha Jin. Penitential, sadismele, play puppet of those who have weapons and those who are its object, are given objective, realistic, war is indeed horrible, but bearable, but is spread over all misty blanket conclusion:'s absurdity. Epistolary narrative is smooth-flowing and you definitely do not front, never see one foot bare and the greedy American nurse to learn Chinese, a platonic relationship and a pen-memory encroached on parting. Consequences, hard, harsh conditions rendered translucent as I said, quietly resigned.
