As a female,are we too ambitious and aggressive?

When we female work with men in a same enviroment, I heard few suggestions to me: please do not so ambitious and aggressive while working with male,esp.they are your director or even boss. Man dosn't like strong and tough women.??

I'm not going to let who I'm working with affect how I do my job. I'm always going to do my job to the best of my ability and if that means being tough and agressive then so be it.
Perhaps it's the men that have problems with their own self esteem.
