Anybody else have this issue?! I am 19 weeks pregnant, and am craving some greasy Papa John's Pizza..however I'm here in Oklahoma with a horrid ice storm, and cant seem to bring myself to call one in and actually have someone deliver it during this crappy weather!!

Call for a pizza, and give them a nice tip. It's their JOB, and not up to you to feel guilty for calling them in the middle of bad weather. And you're PREGNANT! You can get away with getting weird cravings.

I think that you are craving PIZZA because it is a comfort food. Just like when my mom isn't feeling well, she wants some Kraft Mac and Cheese! Good Stuff! I think that when the weather is bad, you don't really feel like making something. You just want to lounge around and feel comfortable!! I live in Oklahoma also and I am cooped up in the house because of the ice storm. Horrible weather...very pretty!! But, I now have a craving for pizza. You are not alone, my friend!!!

I think I am always craving pizza. It is my favourite food. I almost bought some fresh pizza for dinner last night when I remembered the kids had it at school that day. They get it twice a month at school and I get it once every month or two - that is REAL delivery pizza. I have pizza of different shapes and forms in the freezer but it's not the same thing.

We actually had a discussion about this earlier. One of the places here has been closed all weekend, but I would think that they love the bad weather because it means more business for them. I don't know anyone that wants to get out in the weather to go get something to eat, so most people's first response if they don't want to cook would be to get delivery. I do agree with you though, I would worry about the poor delivery guy being out on the bad roads too.

If they are delivering I would call them! When I was 7 1/2 months pregnant in Virginia, Isabel hit, and all I craved was fast food and there wasn't anything open for weeks because of no power. Order a pizza already lol!

That is true bad weather and carving for some nice food go hand in hand.
