My grandmother has been suffering from DM Type II for thirty years now.. She's now bedridden because she hd an accident which broke her hip. Although prosthesis were placed she already had the trauma of moving because of the accident.. Everytime I have to watch for her sugar to go up and down. If it is very very low, it might cause her to go to coma.. Normal sugar level is 80-130 mg/dl.. sometimes she could go until 30 mg/dl.. Then that's emergency here.. Good thing she has been eting lately so I do not have that much problem... Why am I sharing this? Because it's her 76th birthday today! Happy Birthday Grandma!:)
