Is the classic Tintin (series of comic strip books by Belgian writer/illustrator Herge) still the best comic strip ever? Or is it hopelessly old-fashioned and out of touch? Which is top comic strip accrding to you?

I think it's fair to say that Tintin is still one of the greatest comic series ever. Though it is somewhat old-fashioned, the cartoons are just laugh out loud funny! I have the entire collection, and it's just awesome to curl up and read about the Thompsons latest blunder, or Captain Haddock's erratic behavior :D Top comic strip... Between Tintin, Asterix, and Peanuts! One things for sure, I love classic cartoons a lot!

I bought much of the Tintin colelction as a kid, and still have some of the albums. What's more, I love them to this day. Same with Asterix: I bought them while still a schoolboy. Masterpieces both of comic book humour.

I loved TinTin in my youth and I still do :) I have some of the books to that date :) I'm not sure if it's the greatest but the magazine was the greatest for sure, too bad it's no longer in publication, I would be still reading it now.
