What is your opinion about President Bush sending more troops to Iraq?

I am kind of torn between this one I just heard in December that 3000 people from our troops had been killed since this thing started which is more that what died september 11th and yet we are sending more out there to take the chance of being killed as well...on the other hand I know we can either fight this battle on their soil or on ours and I would prefer it to be on theirs than ours but I just don't know what to think right now....What do you think about this?
