I'm wanting to buy one off ebay and am wondering what experiences other people have had with them!

Pocket bikes are a good bit of fun, but most places are illegal to drive them. Also they require a LOT of work. My brothers and neighbours have had to go in for repairs a good many times. Thank god my dad knows them inside out and how to fix them, but they really aren't worth the money if you can't work on it yourself.

Yeh, thats what I'm worried bout, the repairs. Neighbour across the road could help me greatly, as could my uncle, but in the end I'd have to be able to do it myself

Well then I suggest that the first couple times they repair it, ask them questions, watch what they do and learn. They really are not that complicated. Just small. Oh and if you do buy one, watch the cord on them. My brother rips his out all the time.

Good advice :) As for my height and weight (6 foot, 178 pounds), would I just be too big to ride one? Last time i rode one was a few years ago and I've grown a bit since then.

Many people ride these types of bikes in my town, they are good fun and very cheap to run. They sometimes have problems but are easy to fix
