I am expecting my baby in March end and right now I am working. I want to know is it right to join my office immediately after the completion of my maternity leave or else I should leave the job. I have read a number of articles on the liking of today's kids is a working mom. Plz tell me what should be the right step?

If I were you, I would wait to make a decision until your baby comes. Right now it might be easy to say you'll go back to work but, once your baby comes & you see how much he/she needs you & you need them-- you might reconsider. So, I would just wait, if you can to make a major decision until your little one arrives. I had to go back to work after my 3 months off after my little girl was born & I was miserable.. I cried every day/night & was just sick to have to go back to work the next day. I wasn't able to enjoy or look forward to anything, because I was constantly worried about what I was going to do, how much milk I needed to express, who was going to watch her, what if she wasn't okay etc. etc.? So, after 2 weeks back on the job, I quit & I have never been happier in my life. As far as money goes, we don't make a lot right now either with just my husband's money-- but, we make things work so that I'm able to stay @ home-- we've given up a lot of the things that we love, like the cell phone, lowered the package on our TV etc. there are ways to cut money and make it work! Good luck to you

i had to go back to work right after my maternity leave. i was crying for the frist few days. i just wanted to stay home with my baby. not sure if that was because of post partum depression. i've seriously considered being a stay at home mom, but practicality dictates otherwise. as a working mom, i just try my best to have quality time with my baby.
