yes, windows vista is available for free download, beta version, even at the microsoft website. But I do not recommend it at the time being, since being a newly launched product, it might have a number of errors and bugs.

windows vista is not out yet. you can get the one beta 2 version but vista still has tons of drivers being made that you will need to update almost daily and it also has planty of bugs to work out.
