best thing about 'friday night lights' book

I'd have to say that the book is based during the same time I was a junior in high school. I can totally relate to the fads of the time as well as the importance of high school football. It's kind of sad what happened to Boobie. The best part of this book is I think that millions can relate to the effects high school football has on their community.
