Holidays Falling on weekends???

I am from india, in india this year 19 of the Govt. holidays are falling on weekends this year i.e. 2007.
This means that 19 holidays are now less this year and people have to work 19 more days.
What you think, how you feel when there is holiday which falls on weekends?.
Would you be happy because there is more oppurtunity you get to do job??.

I think its good that holidays are falling on weekends because by this way people would go more to their jobs then they normally do and specially people of Pakistan and India (no offense, i am talking generally) are quite lazy and they try to keep themselves away from work as much as they can do. By this way, at least they had to work a bit more.

I dont know from which country you are, but first know about people of india and pakistan then think twice before you say anything about them.
People in India and pakistan work for around 12-16 hours a day, How much time in your country people work?
People in india and pakistan are being paid less and work more
people in india and pakistan has to work on saturdays and even on sundays most of the time.
Now think who is lazy and pls first know about people of different countries and then respond.
Thanks anyways. I came to know about how people from other than india and pakistan think about the people of india and pakistan.

Sometimes it is very irritating to have holidays on weekends because an extra holiday is just cut off due to the weekends and sometimes it is very good to have holidays on weekends when I am expecting some documents or money from the people, if people write me a cheque and its process would go one day late because of govt. holidays and if the holiday is on weekend then the process goes as it is.
Sometimes it is beneficial and sometimes it is not
