Do you snore when you sleep?

"Laugh and the world laughs with you, snore and you sleep alone." Snoring is the act of breathing through the open mouth in such a way as to cause a vibration of the uvula and soft palate, thus giving rise to a sound which may vary from a soft noise to a loud unpleasant sound. This most commonly occurs during sleep. I don't think I snore... Coz no one ever complained to me. But I know snoring can be a nuisance.

Divorce because of snoring ??? And then you say it is NATURAL?? If its natural then this cannot be the reason for divorce..!! This is unfair to the *international snorers society*

Argueing is a waste of time. There is a difference between argueing and discussing and debating. A healthy discussion is always welcome because it involves reasoning and logic. Arguments are senseless talks like they do in the courts!

Oops! Sorry wrong comment in wrong discussion. Probably too many windows opened. No, I dont snore when I am sleeping. But I know someone who does and it pains everyone in the family because he snores so loud, that he is given a separate room and asked to close his door while sleeping

I think so, when I am in a very deep sleep and when I am really tired. I think it's quite common in most people.

Did you ever talk to the doctor regarding this snoring problem? Is it a disease or anything? Do they have any medicine for the same? Homoeopathic docs say it might be due to blockage in the nostrils or enlarged bones.

I don’t think so. My husband doesn’t complain that I snore so loud because usually he sleeps immediately just as his head touches the pillow. I am the one complaining when he snores. I just don’t sleep easily if I hear some noise. I usually nudge him when he snores so loud. I really find it hard to sleep beside somebody who snores so loud.
