I am an Australian and British Citizen that has just moved to Mumbai. This is my fourth time here and I have been here for almost two months now. This is my first time as a resident..... Its a great city so far but the roads need a lot of work and it would also be wonderful if the buildings in general could be cleaned up a bit. It is a thriving city but struggles in terms of infrastructure.

I am in mumbai for 3 months now... before that i was i pune and nagpur... what i learn about mumbai is : MUMBAI ROCKS. It is the most living city in India and 1 of its kind in the world. Initially it may piss u with its traffic and high paced life , however as u get to its frequency u will see other cities as dull and boaring... As it is said , life in mumbai never slow down , it runs ... and its great to be here...

i never been on the road of Mumbai, but went through mumbai airport. so I only have experience about mumbai airport and all other thing is just a story to me. as per airport concern, i can say it is the best airport of India, might be due to the reason that it is main international airport of India. airport is clean, well equipped, security is also good, stuff are also good. but i never did inbound travel thru Mumbai, but heared that Mumbai custom is worst in the country, they only want money nothing else, that too in dollar and without any proper reason. except airport i heard of marine drive, people said this is really nice. people also said good about the bandra, andheri - those place which are very costly and full with big people. Mumbai local train is one of worst train service inIndia - that is what I heard. it is always too much crowded. i understand the pressure of people coming from outside of Mumbai for their daily job. Mumbai is our economic capital, so it has to be very good in shape. simultaneously it is very difficult to maintain in good shape as long as we are not helping our govt to do so. few days ago i read news about an bad incident happend at India gate of Mumbai during x-mas holiday. that is very bad. i hope we will learn from that and help each other to prevent such kind of incident anymore.

Well I have lived in Mumbai for 16 years and I still feel that there is no place like Mumbai. Feel the Sea Breeze, Stand near the sea - Side have some Coconut water, Watch the sun set in the evening, Go for long and wonderful drive, Visit many restaurants. MUMBAI IS JUST AWESOME PLACE TO BE as compared to Staying in Bangalore. Though I lived in Mumbai All my life i can never miss that city and get used to this city. I really miss Mumbai a lot. The Theatres My school, I miss everything about Mumbai. I miss the city and marine drive and the beaches :(:(:(:(

Well, i have been to mumbai a number of times, mostly its been townside or the suburbs.... somehow, save for the humidity, i simply loved mumbai... the entire show in mumbai is so engrossing, u travel thourgh colaba, and then u travel through, sin, loads of difference, on one side u have juhu patty (cant recall the exact name..) othere side u have jvpd..... u ahve teh best of both worlds there.... if there is anything that i would like to see, is teh approach into the west suburbs, being less congested.... used to stay at jvpd, near the restaurant mangi ferra.... faced loadsa traffic snarls at juhu galli.... a lil off sv road... gosh!! else, wish teh trains were less crowded.... wishful thinking i know... and at times i love it.. still remember teh expression on a frnd's face who came from out of town, and saw teh virar local at andheri and he was like : "What teh hell is that??" LOL!! Sorry, mumbai is too big to be described just like that... you need volumes of books for that!!
