Speech tells a lot about a person.

I am saddened to see so many young ladies running around using profanity as a second language. There was a time when girls were taught that their speech portrayed who they were, where they came from and what they stood for. What has happend to that? Is it that girls just are not taught to be respectful to themselves and others or that they just don't care?

I do believe your point there. Just like a persons actions speak louder than words.

I taught my daughters to be proud, resepectable young women...and they still are to this day. I do miss the good old values and morals people used to have.

I think that we as parents can teach our children what we want them to know. But children will only learn what they want to.

It's true. Children have minds of their own but at least it brings some peace of mind knowing we tried to teach them the basics.
