I think Chris Cornell was great in Soundgarden until 1992, he war a real metal singer. Now he is more calm and I appreciate his Euphoria Morning and Unplugged concert while I don't like much Audioslave. What about you?

I still breakout the soungarden c.d.'s - I love all of that stuff too. I am really looking forward to his upcoming solo album this year also.

One thing is sure... Chris Cornell is one the most genuine artists of 80s-90s-00s

I have listened to Cornell since he performed Soundgarden, I like Kim Thayil and Cameron too.

Yeah, Kim Thayil gave Soundgarden that extreme taste... it's a pity they splitted :-(

He's my favourite male singer of all time. Seeing him play with audioslave and sing black hole sun acoustic with everyone singing and waving lighters was an awesome experience. without his music I don't think I would have become a singer myself. SG,TOTD,Audioslave and his solo stuff all speak volumes about how much of a tallented writter and perfomer he is. I can understand if you don't like audioslave. People who were around to see SG probably see his transition to Audioslave as selling out, or a change in direction from what fans expect after Euphoria Morning. But I stared out as am Audioslave fan first before I heard anything else by Cornell so I love everything hes done.
