My first job was for a pizza store. Then I moved onto a cafe and saved up a deposit on my first home. I lived at home till then, and the government gave me $7000 to help buy my house.

During my senior year of high school I went to cosmetology school and when I graduated from there I also graduated beauty school so I was making money right out of high school. Then after a couple of years I decided to go back to college and earn my associates degree in nursing and I have been doing that for the past 15 yrs and I just earned my associates degree in medical billing and coding and will try to do that from home.

I started when I was 16 working at a Shakey's Pizza. I worked my way up to store manager by the time I graduated. I made great money. This was 1972 and I was making $450.00 plus bonuses a week. Not bad concedering my parents house payment was only $200.00 a month back then. I then went on to college and became a grocery manager, then district manager.
