I hav observerd in India( as i hav never visited any foreign country) ppl are addicted to tea or coffee, ishould say specially TEA.If they dnt get tea they are unable to perform properly at their work.
Is this addiction bad for health,as smoking?

I can say, if I don't get my cup of coffee in the day, I will get the worst headache. I do think it's additive and no it's not good for your health. It's not linked to deadly things like smoking, but not good things either. It's bad on your stomach, your heart and nervous system.

I do agree with you that here in India the tea has become an addiction and people cant get out of their bed until they get their bed tea. This is a very bad habbit. I take coffee once in a day and that too is not necessary but I take two cups of milk daily.
