Has anyone heard abt the name Polka ,??????I guess there was fashion in 70's abt the pola bikni,polka dots,polka dance......evrything was polka.... Polka is actually lively dance ,acording to legend it was invented by Czech peasant girl Anna Slezak who choreagraphed a song based on classic Czech song ...also word Polka is derived from the Czech pulka which means a half step.... Do share any views abt polka or any other information u have....
