What happened to 80's Rock?

I'm listening to Final Countdown at the moment. It's a very well know song from Europe. I was born in 83 but I love 80's rock!
What were your favorite bands of the time?
I like Def Leppard, Metallica, Bon Jovi, Kiss, Poison, Aerosmith, Scorpions, Slaughter, Cinderella, just to name a few.
What about you? :D

Ditto with your faves, Gustavo! As for individual artists, I think I was bombarded with a lot of Cindy Lauper, Tiffany and what's-her-name =D

LOL, I guess the names that I know aren't goig to be on your list. I know Def Leppard and all, but who is Cinderella and Slaughter?
80's music was made for RunDMC, Beastie Boys, Whodini, LL Cool J. Salt N Pepa, etc.

I don't know some you mentioned, either.
Slaughter and Cinderella were between hard rock and hair metal. If you like that kind of music, I suggest them. Specially Slaughter. :)

I looove 1980s rock and all 1980s music. It was the best. There were hardly any songs released in the 1980s that I did not like. I wish there was more music around now like that!

80's were definitely the best decade in what concerns to music.
I was born in 1984 so I sadly miss the most, has I was too young at the time.:(
Everyday I listen to 80's rock, pop and disco music and bands like A-ha, Scorpions, White Snake, OMD, Aztec Camera, .38 special, Spandau Ballet, Soft Cell, Fischer Z, Eurythmics, Billy Joel, Billy Idol, Limahl, Wetwetwet, REO Speedwagon, Boston, Chicago and much others.;)

I love 80's music. Some of my favorites were & still are: Bon Jovi, Aerosmith, Poison, Reo Speedwagon, Debbie Gibson, Ozzy. I could go on all day though.
