Do you think it is fact or fiction? If it is fiction why do you think it is the mainstream media If it is fact how can we reverse the trend

I think global warming is fact. I notice the seasons getting warmer. I live in England and the summers are much hotter, and winters very wet, with not much snow. We also have been having thunderstorms in winter, which is highly unusual in this country. I don't think anything can be done to reverse the trend, apart from a) sending spacecraft and rockets into orbit, and b) perhaps controlling aerosol production or banning it altogether.

Ok... thank you for the referral. I will be interested to watch. Incidentally, I did see a report somewhere that the hole in the ozone layer is very slowly repairing itself.

I think that it is mostly fiction based on a few facts... as are most issues covered by the media. I.C. Jackson

I agree that alot of the facts are not atated in the media like they shouldbe.Like the fact that it is a cclimate change and not just a warming issue. Mainstream media has tended to shy away from this topic due to the indecision of the public as to weather they are writing about fact or fiction.

Being in the mainstream media doesn't make it fact. They tell us whatever they darn well please. But I do believe global warming is something we all need to be thinking about, because this planet is our legacy to our children. If everyone did simple things like recycle, cut down on fuel consumption (lower your thermostat 2 degrees!) and use the low- energy lightbulbs, we could do so much good. And don't overuse aluminum, because apparently that takes massive amounts of energy to refine.

Well there are alot of technical weather patterns that are caused by global warming. That is why they are trying to evolve the name to Climate Change because when there is 4 feet of snow in Mexico people do not want to call it Global warming. If you have a chance I would suggest you watch the movie The Inconvient Truth
