What do you think actually makes a relantionship stronger?

That is a darn good question and I think pondering it might make my marriage a little stronger. Wait a minute! A marriage is a relationship and I just said pondering it would make it stronger, so we have one thing that will make a relationship stronger, already. Pondering! Okay, that sounds hokey. Let's say introspection, it's the same thing but sounds fancy. What else? Well, LB, that's Lazy Bum my husband, certainly has his shortcomings but I understand him so well, that I can still love him anyway. I guess then we have another thing that makes relationships stronger, understanding. There must be more, but I'm hard pressed to think of them right now, so I guess we'll settle for introspection and understanding.

Yeah it takes more than love, it takes hard work on both parts. You must be willing to understand one anothers wants and needs. Help them accomplish their dreams and be supportive even if you don't understand them. Being their friend first is always the best way to make your relationship last. Good luck

I think that trust and honesty are essential for any relationship to survive. You can love someone, but if there is no trust and respect for each other, then it is not a good relationship.

Aside from the love, loyalty, respect, coomunication is also important to make a relationship stronger.communication for me plays important role in every relationship because through it you will know each other very well from the postive to the negative aspect of each other. if problem arises, both can easily solve it without shouting to each other or without one having to dominate. both can express feelings whether it is good or bad.

A strong relationship is usually is made out of love, respect, honesty, trust, loyalty, care, affection, laughter and sharing everything altogether either in moment of happiness or sadness...

Going through rough times together and surviving it together, makes you stronger. Spending time with each other talking and sharing intimate conversations makes a relationship strong..along with trust, respect and faithfullness.
