Do you move out of the way of people on the footpath?

Or do you walk in a straight line? Generally when I'm walking down the street its a mutual thing, both move slightly out of way of eachother. But sometimes people just think they own the footpath!

I see it the same way as you, it is a mutual thing. But its weird, if I see someone not moving, and they just expect me to move, that is annoying, and I get defensive and I wont move! That often ends up being problematic...

Yes I do move out of the way of people on the footpath. It is only just proper to move out of the way and always to the right and the person should also go towards his/her right so as not to bump upon each other. It's a right of way thing. I guess some people are too arrogant to just go straight without even considering the person in front of him/her.
