hotmail to stop the Free Email service

as per the latest news hotmail is no longer going to continue the free email services, rather there we charge of minimum 10$ per yr for each 100MB Inbox and further conditions apply, as quoted on website

I feel it would be a horrendous decision but i haven't heard any news about this decision. I don't think it'll happen as they compete with some real big names like yahoo and gmail. Other email services are as good or can say have been a bit better in recent times so it'll be a bad decision i'd say.You'll have most users switching to either gamil or yahoo and only who have busineess emails at hotmail id will be using it or maybe not, can't say about that. So don't worry its not gonna happen.

Firstly, i have not heard about this. Secondly, I do not think hotmail will ever do that because they will not be able to compete with gmail and yahoo then. It would not turn in their favour...

I haven't heard of this, but if they do start charging i will not pay.. I will just yahoo or gmail they are just as good if maybe better on somethings

they can do whatever they want really, i bet a small percentage will stay with hotmail if that happens, I have a hotmail account but barely used it, the problem with hotmail is the limited mailbox space.
