At our side we do cleaning of whole the house once a year on diwali...cleaning and painting walls and washing ....each and every corners will be cleaned on that time....

hi,in our are we used to paint and clean the houses for pongal[makara sankranthi],almost one month before we start activities of collecting broken wood materials for bhogi fire...cleaning houses..pooling of all relatives in one house..beautiful feeling.

i also clean my house in a proper way on diwali. and other its depends on situation .
