Gree House Effect

Hello everyone!!
This is a most heard about topic the Green House Effect. I have read this book STATE OF FEAR by Crichto and it is those one of those books which increased my drive toward science. I this book he clearly explains that the earth is cooling down and we are entering another ice age eventually and he has provided his set of references and i ahave read a few of them as well and i completely agree with it. Though global warming increases the temperature its effect is much lesses when compare to the reduction in temperature and this whole thing was set up by a few ENVIRONMENTALISTS to prevent pollution.

I did read that book too..and i was much impressed but i think the environmentalist r justified...since greenhouse gases, though they do not rise the temperature of the earth much, causes pollution....so we do have to reduce this pollution and Greenhouse effect was blown out of proportion

Yes but this to an extent is ok but in the book he has give a situation where he has explained how the industrialists are exploited. This shouldn t be the case and enough knowledge about this has to be spread!

I have clearly explained in my post a brief about it and i can quote a few statements from the book itself. It sayd that the polar icecaps are not really melting but have grown in size i the past half a million year or so. and this is solely due to the fact that we r now entering the ice age again, from where we came!
