Who is your favorite character(s) in the Lord of the Rings?

what makes them so special? my personal favorites were Legolas, Aragorn, and Gimli. I fell in love with Legolas in the movies, well for starters it was Orlando BLoom playing him. Another reson, which i found in the books, was he was sure, smart, and fond of nature, full of courage. The whole fact that he always carried around a bow and arrows and dead accuracy, also won me over. Archers i love. Aragorn i liked in the beginning of the first book because he was so mysterious and strong. he knew the land and how to fight. taking charge in a situation and very quiet and thoughtful. seems like someone who would really protect you and keep you safe. Gimli i love also. i loved it when him and Legolas competed for the number of Orcs they killed. i liked how he spoke his mind, very loud, insulted those who he had hardly even met! his love for the Elvish Queen of loiumlorei (took a wild stab at it, forgot what the forest was called lol and her name!) he makes up for height with his courage and energy. so whats yours? ♣
