I think because Tv gives alot of things to offer. Information, education, news, entertainment. Especially about information. If we lack of information , I think there's so much barrier in the future that we must through without correct information. And TV is one of media that can provide it cheaply.

because we think that don;t have what to do... and some people for information

maybe because we need informations and from time to time to spend some time watching a good movie
