How can we prevent the cheating in elections

May elections in the Philippines is coming. People are dismay of the election cheat, and the voting procedure that they undergo. I believe that everyone has a voice on elections. What are your suggestions on my above question? Prevent cheats

It is not only the concern of Phillipines, this happens all over the world, EVen in India with a strong democracy, election rigging takes place, booth capturing is normal practice in Bihar and UP of India.

Cheating in elections are prevalent in Most of the developing countries all over the world including Asia. It is widely prevalent in India too. Politicians and their agents buy up the votes from uneducation (educated too) voters by offering them gratis (free items).
