Play writing?

I have got the chance to write a play and I have an idea what is to write,and now just not sure how to go about writing a play.I think the play must have some forms.

you need to read some play first which can make you know the play write first.Just write as the other authors do.so you won't get wrong with that.

you can read some play boos and that's easy to write i think play write is different from others, most of it are dialauges.
