Will India surpass China only in terms of population?

It is reported India will surpass China in population.
China is the No.4 (or 5?) economic power in the world.
Do you guys in India have come up with any plans to overtake China?

well,friend.i think that china and india have something in common.they both have large population,high speed of ecnomical development,and both asian country.it is more important to coorperation than competetition.why we dont get together,and learn from each other to build a more fantastic future really belonging to us.

I think there is a lot of hype about this but I dont think India will pass China. It has many severe problems of poverty which are not that easy to solve.
