but for believing in and for loving god you don't need a religion .you can call god even without a religion.nobody can say that you can contact god only through a religion .

when jesus was on this earth he confronted many religious people in his times, the pharesees, scrives, there werefalse prophets before him and after him, false christs, all different false religions, but he gave a clue to recognize the true religion, read the whole chapter 7 of mathew and reallymeditate on it.

i pretty much agree with you. when people ask me my religion, i usually say that im christian, but i dont follow christianity really. i believe in God and Jesus, and that's about it. i think religion has become such a man-made thing, and all parts of it are up to interpretation by the church or mosque or preacher or whatever. most religions have the same base...be good, so i dont have to follow any specific religion to do that. i kinda take bits and parts of multiple religions in my daily life. i dont like going to church because i dont like somebody else telling me what to believe and when to pray and what to do in life. i believe in God in my own way i guess.

I believe in God, but I have trouble with some aspects of religion. Most of my problem is with certain parts of specific religions. I may agree partially with several religions but not entirely with any. I am a Christian, but will not side with any one church. I have seen too many hypocrites in churches, so if anyone tells me that they are better because they attend this or that church regularly, I know better. I attend at times, but I haven't found any church I have liked yet. I don't know if I ever will. If not, I'm not worried about it. I can be a Christian, and can believe in God even if I never attended church again.
