Ever invested into Mutual Fund?

I've been thinking of investing money on Mutual Funds. Is it worth a try? Have you invested into Mutual Funds? What has been the outcome?

I've invested.its safe, but deends on its investment manager performance. Until now, my mutual funds give me good return, more than saving in banks.

Yes did invested in mutual funds, Earlier I lost money ie in 1992~94, while now I made profit. I think they have improved a lot in last few years. If you are not good at investing in stock by your self do investing in mutual fund is safer. While you should know where these funds invest your money and can you sell them at any time you feel like selling when in need of money.
