Why are we so tired...

So if we get 8 hours of sleep everyday, why are we still tired mid-day. I get 7-8hours of sleep during the work week and i when i wake up for work, Im Still Tired!!!! I felt like I havent slept all night...Why do you think this is? And you do you have the same problems?

I think you asnwered your question... You're at work, no matter how long or short I've been at work I feel tired! On the weekends or after work I feel more lively and I think it's because I'm doing something I want to do!

Good qusition, as per my opinion even sleeping time also our body parts including mind is working there is no rest for our body only rest to my eyes. and even we are all thinking while sleeping also am i right? in 24 hrs we are taking for rest only 8 hrs means maximum hrs we are working in hard. hence we are getting tired.

I have the same problems , feeling tired even after sleeping. What I read once, and please do not take what I write here as truth, is just what I think it is the truth, but I may be wrong. Well, the article said that people have different sleeping needs, some people need 8 hrs, some people need 10 hrs (I am one of them), some people even need only 4 hours. Other thing is the condition of sleeping, for example if you are as unfortunate as me and live in with noisy neighbours, you sleep, but you does not rest well, because excessive noise, when we are sleeping, even if it is not loud enough to awaken, disturbs the sleep and so we wake up after hours of a sleep that wasn't undisturbed and so we didn't rest as well as we should. About the sleeping time : The rare times when I can get 10 sleeping hours is when I am at my best. And also when I travel and sleep in some quiet place.

i have the same problem. i agree with the dude above about different people having different sleeping needs. we most likely fall under the 10hours or more. and what's more horrible is that i have insomnia. so insomnia plus long sleep requirement equals zombie. i feel like a zombie. i hate getting up early, and sometimes, even when i need to, i just cant. and since i have insomnia, the best time for me to wake up to feel rested is around noon. and when it gets really bad, i cant even sleep at all. the longest that i havent slept is 3 days. so there, either i feel like i havent slept all night, or i actually havent slept all night.

i dont think this is normal, i know i am very hard to get out of bed but once i have a cup of tea i,m fine . perhaps you could try a few sessions if reiki. this will unblock any trapped or bad energy and you will start feeling good again,
