Why do marriages don't last long in USA?

i think is the culture and the life style...

In my opinion, Americans seem to be open to everything, including marriage. Besides, they attach great importance to freedom. They think that it's their freedom to decide whether to stay to stay or leave. Short-term marriage does harm to the stability of society, I think.

I think it's because too many couples rush into getting married without really thinking about it. Marriage is a lot of work and devotion and some people arent willing to put the work into their marriage, or they decide that they want to be with someone else and end up cheating on their spouse. Too many people take their marriage vows for granted.

That might be because divorce is easy to get and it is socially acceptable. in india - from what I´ve heard it is not easy for a woman who is divorced to find a man to amrry again, In america and europe, people don´t really care. However - i do belive that people get married and divorced to easily and I wish that they would take it more serious than they are!

I guess it's because of their culture and lifestyle. In US, most married women also go to work and sometimes spend most of their time for their career in work that sometimes they don't have much time for their partners. In India, you have your own culture wherein there should only one husband.

I think that because our society accepts divorce and it isnt considered to be all that bad of a thing more people resort to it to solve problems they dont want to work hard at. Marriage is hard work sometimes and most dont want to do all the work to make it work. In your society divorce is not a good thing so couples work harder to make it work.
