BBQ like an african (South Africa) what meat do you bbq

Hi I thought I'll get your thoughts and share some bbq tips ! I live in South Africa and here we call a bbq a "braai", now trust me when I say bbq'ing or braai is a national sport and past time! We are quite lucky in that meat is quite cheap here. for instance we get fillet at plus minus $10 a kilo ! We also have what we call "Blou Bul Steak" in english it means "Blue Bull Steak" It's usually a HUGE chunk of prime cut meat about 1kg and over. I would like to know how people bbq in other countries and what do you bbq ?
