A dog is tied to a leash and the leash is 15 feet long. The dog wants to get a bone that is 20 feet away. How did the dog get the bone?

The dog is tied to a leash (one end) but it does not specify the location or condition of the other end of the leash. Therefore it is possible that the other end is free and not mounted to anything, this allowing the dog free roam to get the bone. This must be my neighbor's dog. This also exposes very important loopholes in dog leash ordinances.

Hahaha never thought of that! But OFFICER, my dog WAS on a leash when he bit that old lady. Back to the riddle... One end is tied to the dog the other end is not tied to anything. The dog just walked over and took the bone. Very good dynaweb!

If it was my dog it would be because she chewed through her leash to get the extra five feet! LOL

He got the bone on his own.

This is too easy. It is on the other side of the leash! 5 feet away! Look, lets say the dog is tied to the post with the same measurements. To get it, all the dog has to do is walk to the post and 5 feet more to the other side, and he got the bone!

You are closer... the bone is 20 feet away from the dog in every direction. The CLOSEST the dog is to the bone is 20 feet.
