Is your husband paranoid about your son(s) turning gay?

Maybe my husband isn't "paranoid", per se. But there are times when I just want to slap him.
Our son is 3 years old. He has an older sister, and so I think he wants to emulate her- or at least enjoy the same things that she enjoys. So he likes to wear her clothes, play with her barbies, ponies, etc. He often dresses up in her Princess costumes, and sometimes I find him putting on lip gloss. If he goes into her dresser and finds something he wants to wear, it is usually pink. Maybe he just prefers this color?
I don't see a problem with it, and I do not think in any way shape or form, that this means something- this doesn't mean our son will "turn gay". However, my husband does not appreciate coming home from work and finding our son dressed up in his sister's clothing. The thought of anybody seeing our son like this is actually quite upsetting to him.
WHY are men like this?!?

Yes, sylvie, at times I think Mark is a bit paranoid when it comes to our 8 year old son, CJ, who has Autism. He likes a variety of things like, Dora. And nice shiny things that girls usually like; especially diamond rings.
He came home awhile back from school with a small, shiny, plastic girl's purse that he'd bought with monies he earned in class; once a week they get to purchase something from 'class store'.
Good thing Mark didn't see it or he'd blown a gasket. He'd say, "don't let him have that, I don't want him to be a 'sissy'."

Sorry I didn't respond to this sooner. It's quite sad how men can act like this sometimes.. although I'm sure there are some women who feel the same way.
Our boy likes Dora as well, although he's not 8. But he's been really big into Hello Kitty lately. LOL
