rhesus - considered as type D -80% of human beings contains Rh erythroblastosis fetalis - hemolytic disease of a new born white blood cells - leukocytes -developed from red bone marrow leukopoetin - hormone that produces Wbc leokopoesis - process of production of wbc 2 groups of Wbc granulocytes - w/ granules agranulocytes - w/o granules granulocytes 1. neutrophils - most numerous -60% of wbc 2. eosinophils - red cytoplasm -1-3% of Wbc 3. basophils - purple cytoplasm -for allergic reactions agranulocytes monocytes
