Which browser do you prefer IE or Firefox?

Hi sahyd2don, I like mozilla firefox because it is much secured when compared to internet explorer. It has an advanced security feature which makes it safe to use. I like also the add-ons, plug-ins, and extensions of mozilla, thus making it more useful. However, I also used IE because there are some websites that cannot be opened by mozilla, so I used it rarely.

Yes the only thing i don't like in firefox is it consumes lot of memory.

i dont know. i use only internet explorer. and i wil continue to use internet explorer only

i was using firefox till now but now i hav switched over to IE7...This is good and i liked it...

I do think of that. Firefox for me is more faster than IE. And have tab browser. So you can browse many website with only single page.

I too prefer firefox than Internet Explorer.Its faster and has got tabs in it.The only thing which i dont like is that some sites are locking the tabs so that we remain on their site.

yes i think so that in few year Firfox will captur the market if IE Firfox have nice and strong security . than any other explor

Ofcourse FIREFOX will be widely used in the coming years.
Though i am on IE right now as i am on VISTA.I use/prefer FireFOX in XP and will use FF in vista too in the coming days.I prefer FF bcuz of faster downloads and security and the tabs thing(though its in new IE too i still prefer Firefox).

I mostly use FireFox, but there are certian things that i cant get to from firefox, so i still have to use IE

well i have both mozilla firefox and internet explorer.....i am a software engineering student...i use mozilla firefox...it is because i feel more comforable with mozilla plugins than the IE and the security provided by the mozilla is far better than the explorer...then in mozilla the tabs are very good..that is we can open different links in differet tabs....but in explorer we cant open as many tabs

Yeah maybe after few months or years firefox can take lead from internet explorer and this will happen only because of its security but in present no doubt that yet internet explorer is being used by most of the internet users and not firefox. Have Fun.
