Does anyone think that David Stern will be able to come up with a arena deal that will make the city of Sacramento and the Maloofs happy? Or do you think the Maloofs are just going to move the Kings and Monarchs elsewhere??

I think so. Vegas would be a great city. :)

I dont see them moving to Las Vegas, no casino is going to be willing to take NBA off of their books.

I have heard many stories surrounding this. One is that they cannot move the team to Las Vegas due to the sports gambling. If anything, they will move to New Mexico where I hear the Maloofs are from. The way the Kings have been playing, fan interest appears to be waning and it may be a good excuse to move the franchise. I wonder if this was pre-planned all along? I was also a bit perturbed by David Stern's involvement, asking where he was when the Kings were robbed of a championship back in the Dream Team days. Had we cinched the title (sure smelled of a conspiracy), it would have been a much easier sell to snag a new arena. My 2 cents.

A friend of mine knows the Maloofs and she says they want to keep the Kings there in Sacramento. The fans are loyal to the Kings and Monarchs the sell out games are proof. So I guess we shall see what can be done. I just honestly dont see Sacaramento or the Maloofs budging on what they want so that a new arena can be built.

I think Las Vegas it's good city for NBA all-star weekend. Have a nice day everyone.
