The Black Rock looks remarkably like a pirate ship or a galleon. Do you suppose any of the Others are descendants of pirates?

Honestly, it looked more like a Slave ship then a pirate ship to me. Whatever it was the darn ship was old, and I don't see how it was still all put together like that.
I wonder if the writers are going to explain the ship, or just forget about it. All I know is I haven't forgotten it.
If it's a pirate ship then I bet Hurley's really a pirate....or Locke...Locke has some pirate thing going on. lol ;)

If it were a slave slip, there would be quite a few black people on the Island. And Hurley and Locke came in the plane crash in 2004 or whenever it was. I was thinking that some of the Others were descended from pirates.
