is it true that mylot doesn't pay for a 2 or 3 word response?

is it also true that the response must be at least 4 lines? is this fair, some are clever to put their response to look like 4 lines using spaces and 3 words per line and even just lines can the computer detect this? Some discussions ask for a one word reply like do you like coffee? of course the obvious answer will be either yes or no. That means we don't get paid for answering posts like this.

It's not about how clever you are. It's about responding with a well thought out and intelligent comment that contributes something to the discussion. If you can do this in one sentence, then it's OK. Generally it takes several sentences to make a point. You should avoid the polling types of discussions that ask for a one word reply, because these discussions generally get deleted, and MyLot will deduct credits from your account and adjust your earnings.

Am I to assume that there are actually people in mylot admin who are reading the discussions and rating them based on the merits of each. I've always thought that computers are manning the office and a machine can not detect which is senseless and which is not. It can count the number of words for sure. I hope there are actual people that monitors the contents of the discussion.

Good question! Being so relatively new here, I'd have to imagine mylot has some sort of deal where they can tell if posts are of 'acceptable length' or not. Meaning, of course, with actual content and not just the amount of space it takes up with extra spaces and returns added. Personally, I try to make each post of a reasonable length too. And of course, that means I don't even bother with the ones that are yes or no in nature.
