Get your love through your drawing... how far is this true?

I have a friend who is very talented in fine arts. she even took a course in fine arts and graduated with flying colours. What I was interested the most is her love story. She is not a beautiful girl, in fact I have to say she is a bit ugly. But she got a very handsome boyfriend who happened to be rich, mighty rich! I asked her, how did she managed to get a boyfriend like that? She said her boyfriend was attracted to her paintings without knowing her at that first place. So he hunted who the painter of the marvelous piece of art and he promised he would marry the girl who drew it. It is like a fairy tale story but this is a true story. How romantic! What do you have to say about this? To me, I am envious of course!
