Can you believe Don cut off his finger?

Was I the only one completely shocked that Don cut off his finger to get into the post-op ICU to get the photo?
Do you think he did it because he's "crazy" or because he was determined to get the shot to help save Lucy's job?
I'm not sure. Obviously his mental state helped him do something so irrational, but I think part of it was just to help out his friend.

I couldnt believe he just did it and acted like nothing had happened and said well im glad im in the hospital.....one thing is for sure Lucy could not find anyone better for her photographer.

I can't believe he just walked by those men and said it's a good thing were at the hospital. LOL. No I don't think it was "crazy" just desprate to get the picture.
So do you like the show so far. I think it's pretty engaging.
