I live in a country of 7,107 islands, and does not know how to swim

Crazy this is a tropic island and yet I do not know how to swim. Whats the explanation? I am not the only one for sure I know a lot of islander who lives in my place. And their just the same. I live on a big part island where sea is almost unseen from here. I fear to learn now that I has aged.

its alright dianagaddi, you are not alone. That makes us two. I don't know how to swim. I love the beach but swimming time, I just stay in the shallow part where the water is up to my neck. In our family, I am the only one that doesn't know how to swim. The rest are great swimmers. Oh boy! LOL

7,107 islands!!!! WoW!!!! Do you travel by boat only? Hope you didn't loose some islands with the tsunami!!! thats a mind boggling number.. i can not visualize! Ops, btw, I can swim a little :)

I share the same fate. I am also from Philippines but I really don't know how to swim. I just don't like water it make me feel bad about it and besides I feel like drowning. I have fear with water even before I was a kid. I just really wonder why we live in 7,107 island but I don't know how to swim myself.
